About the Author

Jessie was born on the island of Panay, in the province of Nabas, Aklan, the Philippines. When she was 3 months old, she was adopted by a U.S. Navy Seal Officer and his wife. When she was 18 months old, they flew half-way around the world to United States. When she was almost 3, her parents adopted her sister. They lived in Virgina and Carolinas before settling in South Carolina. Jessie began writing and drawing at a very young age. Her manuscripts and pieces of artwork have won local and national awards. Jessie is a former U.S. Marine, athlete, dancer and musician. She is the wife of Austin, and mother of Keira and Zane. Her family and Dachshund, Saya, currently reside in South Carolina. She is currently writing a memoir.
