About the Book

The fi rst poems in this collection were written during an intro to poetry-writing course in college, the last as the author was completing her Pediatrics residency. It comprises a sort of journal of experiences and fl ights of imagination, drawing inspiration from sources ranging from fairy tales, nature, travel, hobbies, and classical literature to the idiosyncracies of medical education.

About the Author

Fang Bu majored in English and Biology at Furman University in Greenville, SC, before completing her medical education at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She currently lives in North Myrtle Beach, SC, with her cat, Raiden. In addition to her day job as a pediatrician, she enjoys knitting, sewing, and dessert-making, and occasionally blogs about her progress.
