About the Author

James Miller Sr. was born in 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina. He is a multi-awarded poet having won three Golden Poet Awards two in 1988-1989 one in 1990, Two Poet of Merit awards 1989-1990, and One Editor’s Choice awards in 1990. James has received several awards for having served in the US ARMY during the Vietnam War Including Commendation from the Army and Presidential Citation. He also received Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry medal. He now lives with his wife Janette in California.
