About the Book

“Rhythms of A Broken Soul” is a collection of poems with a diverse range of subject matter and themes including life, love, politics and matters of faith. About the Author

Brian Masenda is an accountant based in South Africa who decided to return to the art of pen. His work often focuses on the interactive difficulties of modern society, honing in on the parts that are not studied too closely for fear of awkward faux pas, sadness and disappointment. He handles these themes with a deft touch that leaves wide room for interpretation. He is indeed a master at painting graphically dark scenes that force the reader look closely at modern paradigms and mindsets, often using imagery that is outside the average comfort zone in order to provoke thought and introspection.
