About the Book
Wishing I was Fishing is about a young boy’s dream to fish. His mother surprises him one morning with a fishing trip starting at the Bait Shack. The journey, the fishing trip, not the goal, catching a fish, is what makes this story so memorable. The story is written in rhyme, making it fun for adults and children to anticipate words and finish sentences.
