About the Book

" Like a flash , Like a comet. This meeting. Plucked from the ashes. " This book is dedicated to my mother, her memory - a talented artist , a gentle and caring wife and mother , the beautiful daughter and a beautiful woman. Her life was very difficult. During World War II, she was diagnosed with a heart defect. In the early 60s, our family lived in Kiev and Rufina clinic Amoz did the first open heart surgery. The operation was successful, and then my mom said that she received as a gift 10 years of life. Then there was a 2nd operation - and even a gift. Rufina loved life and she appreciated every minute of life and trying to get and experience all that were presented by her fate. She knew that every ray of sunshine, patted her face, every smile donated passers could be her last. All this - the joy, pain, suffering and fortitude transmits its poetry. These verses now see the light. I think they deserve to be with people. Andrew Krichak
