About the Book

Cherene Foxport thought she’d escaped from her past only to discover she carried her past everywhere she went. Angry that the love of her life may have been harmed, she begins to search only to be rejected and have doors slammed in her face. Not even her own mother believed she had found the right one this time. Vilay Henderson and Tania Gilliam had fared no better. Each was determined to get sweet revenge. This time, will they be left hurting and disappointed or victorious?

About the Author

Vee DeShawanna-Lee was born in Detroit, Michigan. Vee was the third of seven children born to the late Charles and Sarah Kilgore of New Albany, Mississippi. Vee attended school in the Highland Park, Michigan school district and continued to obtain a master’s of science degree from Central Michigan University. Widowed, Vee is the mother of two children, Leslie and Ira, who are the loves of her life. She is the proud grandmother of Ira III, who has officially named her Ga’Ga’ and no longer Grandma. Vee continues to be employed in corporate America in a training development and analysis capacity. I have always loved to read fiction books. Trying to figure out the end before reading the entire book has always been a habit of mine. In many cases, I thought the ending should have been different. I used what I thought to be a disappointment in a book ending to be the beginning of a new project for myself. I decided to write my own books. This idea surfaced in 2005, and after sharing the idea with a few friends and them having moved forward with similar projects, I thought it was time for me to get started. I must say to my reading community, “Having the chance to write how I think a story should end has been a sheer pleasure.” I only hope when you read my stories, the endings find you shocked and amazed.
