About the Book

This book is about a little elephant who wants be like his friend. He learned that he is made a certain way and he has to accept his body the way that it is and use it the way that he can. Once he accepted himself as he was he was very happy. Children must learn to accept and feel good about themselves just as they are.

About the Author

Mary attended Western Reserve University, in Cleveland Ohio, Kean College in New Jersey and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida. She has a Degree in Business Management , Human Resource and a Certification in Early Childhood. She owned a Child Care Business in New Jersey, with children from 6 weeks to 5 years plus a private school component, Kindergarten to 4th grade. She has been director of a Child Care Agency in St. Petersburg Florida . She has been a trainer for teachers, she has been on the Pinellas County School Board and she now volunteers in a NICU unit with sick babies. She loves to read and she loves to write. Mary, resides with her husband in Florida. They have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Her life has been filled with activities that involve children.
