A convoy of Greek and British trucks rolled by as the afternoon sun gave way to dusk and night closed in. Costa tried to get up, but he could not. He tried to call out, but he had no voice. After some time, he heard another convoy heading toward him. One by one they rolled past. Costa watched the last truck go by. Thinking the ravine would be his last final resting place.

About the Book
At a very young age I’ve listened to my parents tell me stories of hardships and courage during the holocaust of Asia-Minor (Turkey), World War Two, and as emigrants in America. Listening to testimonials, taking notes and looking at our old historical photographs I knew this story had to be told. Certain people can relate to this story but most cannot it brings a strong message that all things are possible good and bad.
