About the Author

I was born in Highpoint, North Carolina and moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1949. My hobbies include music, gardening, collecting miniature lighthouses and watching all sports. I became interested in writing poetry after a contest in the sixth grade. My writings cover a wide range of subjects from babies to senior citizens and from ordinary happenings to some of the greatest sports figures. In my writings I try to make the reader feel as if they are actually living the experience. All my life I have endeavored to see my writings made into a book.
