Twin Stars is a story of love and decisions. The Great Sun asks the Twin Stars to choose the light with which they wish to shine forever, and each star must make the final decision alone. From their early beginnings they were always together. They never had to do anything alone. Now in the most exciting moment of their lives; they were to be alone. Do you think they will choose the same light?

Jean Marie used the computer to design the illustrations to capture the emotions of the story through composition, color, and contrast.
About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR Jean Marie Miscisin, author, artist, storyteller, and friend, is grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren, mother of ten awesome adult children, and the wife of the finest gentleman she has ever met. Jean Marie lives with her husband Ronald in Modesto, California, where she enjoys teaching students techniques for improving their English language skills. Jean Marie Miscisin has two masters degrees: the first, from the University of Michigan in American Culture Studies with a concentration in Minority Studies; the second, from California State University, Stanislaus in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with a concentration in Teaching Reading Skills. She is currently completing work on the California Reading Specialist - Teaching Credential. Jean Marie is the author of The Art of Teaching to Their True Colors, a two- book package for developing lesson plans for teaching reading. Each unique lesson meets the needs of students with various learning styles. She is also working with her eldest son, David, who is developing a computer program which will facilitate the implementation of the methods introduced in The Art of Teaching to Their True Colors.
