About the Author

Mary Covington Bottom lives in Richmond, Virginia. She was born and raised in rural South Carolina where her family farmed. She learned to ride at an early age and is a proficient equestrian. She obtained her degree in accounting and owns a small accounting firm. She and her husband, a private investigator, reside in a house owned by their cats, Chipper and Miss Priss, who were rescued when young kittens by her husband. Between the two professions and various law enforcement friends, stories abound. After her accounting duties, Mary relaxes by writing.
