About the Author

Richard Volkind is a medical doctor; consultant in neurology, psychiatry and flight medicine; professor of physiology. Co author of books and scientific papers on the physiology of the thalamus and cerebellum. Worked for close to twenty three years in the pharmaceutical industry as regional medical director. He also was responsible for training and co coordinating clinical trials. The last six years he was a senior medical drug safety officer. Of those, the last two, he was the head of corporate Drug Safety in UK.
