About the Author

Bernard Wentworth Balser grew up in the small town of Danvers, Massachusetts, where, as a youth, he reluctantly played football and baseball. His love was inventing his own form of entertainment. He now resides in nearby Salem, the Witch City. He graduated from Salem State College and also attended Norwich University and the University of New Hampshire. Several of his articles on the arts as well as his poems have been published. After working years in retailing and teaching, he finished his business career at a prominent insurance company. This is the first novel of a trilogy.
