About the Book
In his first ever horror story, James Estes delves into the supernatural, the odd, the unusual, giving readers a look into what might take place in a world of those destined to be forever damned to a living death. What would that be like? Monotonous, boring, filled with great disappointment?
In the attics of a huge Atlanta shopping mall, beasts of the night have begun a new way of satisfying their forever-thirst. But along comes a 262-year-old “youthful” vampire wishing to end it all, beginning with the very one whose teeth it was that bit him first. Winfred Thaddeus, a native of Cojacna, Romania, was just beginning his career in athletics, a champion gymnast, when his antagonist, Horace Vidrik cheated him out of life. Now, having fallen in love for the first time with a beautiful college student, Winfred longs for sunsets and sunrises, flowers, and growing older. But along comes Vidrik with other diabolical plans for the young vampire. Can Winfred keep the stakes out of his heart? Or the sun from setting him afire?
