About the Book
Bob Forbes never expected to be caught up in a maelstrom of corrupt police officers, lawyers and an alcoholic, incompetent and paranoid federal judge when he was hired as the law clerk for the Honorable Bradley Scott Doerr. Unpaid gambling debts of the judge brought a serious threat of bodily harm to the judge and his bailiff Digger McShea from the Cosa Nostra leg breaker, Vito who was a convicted federal offender. Despite an undercover effort by federal agents and the Justice Department to remove Judge Doerr from the Bench, he concocts a novel and deadly plan to thwart the collection efforts of Vito and stalemate the Justice Department. The story is augmented and brightened by a number of bizarre characters who frequent the go-go bar near the courthouse.
