About the Author

Artist and poet, Suzanne Haskew is the Executive Director of the Village Fine Arts Association in Milford, Michigan were she and her husband Harold make their home. She is a product of the University of Michigan School of Art with studies at the University of Miami, Coral Gables Florida, East Tennessee State at Penland, North Carolina. She does commission artwork from her MuckyBottom Studio. Haskew has won numerous awards for her artwork and has illustrated five books. She is very active in her community and church and most recently was named the Huron Valley Citizen of the Year. “As mother of six, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of one I understand there will always be another young face and fresh mind to give me now insight into this life we all share.”
