About the Book

Psalms Of Poetry by Shelia A. Weems is a collection of lifestyle poems written to uplift and inspire, to revive and refresh and to rekindle the love that lies within each of us, bringing peace and joy at each reading. Shelia’s fi rst desire to write began at age ten; she loved writing poetry and composing songs. Because the Lord would wake her mid-night with anointed words of inspiration, she always kept a pen and tablet at bedside, ensuring that the messages given to her by the Holy Spirit would be recorded and shared. These special heavenly communications is the cornerstone upon which Psalms of Poetry is based.

About the Author

Shelia Anita Weems was born on July 23, 1957 to parents, Lawrence and Maudine Weems. She is the fourth child of six children. Shelia spent her childhood in Flint, Michigan where she developed her lifelong love of family and her undying love of God. She received her Christian training from her parents and from the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, the late Rev. Henry Robinson, pastor (Rev. E. L. Girley, current pastor). Presently, Shelia is a member of World Changers Church International, College Park, Georgia, Dr. Crefl o and Taffi Dollar, pastors. Shelia lives in Lithonia, Georgia. She has two beautiful daughters, Shinita and Shekilia and four wonderful grandchildren, Rayon’Te, Willie, Rayona and Eric.
