About the Book
A Christmas Gift centers on a collection of characters whose lives become virtually intertwined in one way or another. The portrayal of these characters explores the relative nuances of human nature and interaction, highlighting qualities relating to courage, loyalty, and love. This narrative unfolds around some pivotal events of the twentieth century, the most prominent being World War II. Throughout the story elements of suspense and emotion are incorporated in order to capture the imagination as well as to enlighten and inspire.
About the Author
I was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in 1927. During World War II and the Korean War, I served in the Navy and I received two honorable discharges. Although I am recently widowed, I was married for 56 years. I have two children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. As a licensed accountant, I still operate my own practice and have also earned a law degree. In 2002, I was the recipient of the Poet Laureate Award. My poetry has been published in anthologies in the United States and England.
