About the Author

John R. Bradshaw, Minister of Word and Sacrament, has served as pastor of Presbyterian Churches in Louisiana and Texas and as financial consultant to congregations throughout the United States. In addition to the preaching, counseling, administration, and mission concerns of the churches he served, Mr. Bradshaw participated as student, teacher and designer of educational programs for local churches. He taught leadership classes for youth and children at denominational Lab Schools for the Synod of the Sun and Mission Presbytery at Southwestern at Memphis (presently Rhodes College), Trinity University, and the First Presbyterian Churches of Kerrville and Rockport, Texas. Mr. Bradshaw monitored the development of Early Childhood Awareness for Christian Education and incorporated it into the learning designs of congregations he served. John and wife, Helen, live in Rockport, Texas.
