This is your classic coming of age tale told through the lyre of a warrior poet living and growing up in a post-9/11 era. It ranges from heartfelt and somber to joyous and elated--it covers the span of ewgilligan´s young life and illustrates just how much he has changed and matriculated over the six years during which the bulk of these poems have been written. Some of his written work has been read aloud at various poetry readings, but the majority of the poems is being shared for the first time in this, ew´s first collection. About the Author

Ew Gilligan received his Bachelor’s in English from the University of Richmond in 2005. Since graduating, Erin has been a fulltime working actor for a little over a year and a half. While he plans on pursuing acting, he is also doing his best to marry himself as closely as possible to his second love: writing. Erin would like to thank you for taking the time to care about the mess inside some young man’s head.
