Imagine for a moment that our Earth is a quarantined world, a world unlike any other in the cosmos, and one with which contact is absolutely forbidden. If extraterrestrials found themselves stranded here, what would they do? Some might choose to live among us, and embrace our world as their adopted home. Others might distance themselves from human society and choose to live in seclusion, not in deference to some higher principle, but simply because they can’t stand us.

About the Author

When he’s not writing stories about aliens, Bob serves as President and CEO of Tioga-Franklin Savings Bank in Philadelphia, PA. He is also an active member of Holmesburg Baptist Church, where he occasionally fills in as a substitute preacher in desperate situations where there’s no money in the budget and no one else is available. While insisting that he does not personally know any aliens, Bob grudgingly admits to several friends that might reasonably be considered at least mildly suspicious.
