About the Book

Politicians, religionist, scientists, drunks and housemaids all make comparisons to rationalize their existence, their life-styles and their miss-deeds. Ninety-nine percent of humanity make rationalizations in the attempt to compare their lives to some conceptual idea. I know, because I have made such comparisons myself. Then one personally offensive day, I had to surrender to what is. I had to regain composure by letting go of rationales of concepts and then the concepts themselves... before they killed me... or worse, made me give up creativity and give in to mediocre civilized compulsions! It has been difficult to ‘move forward’ as the President so dearly recommends... or does the President command? If you listen with both ears and hear what is going on between the presidential lines of command rhetoric you too will hear the President saying, “I recommend difficult and turbulent times! Heh, bring it on! Over here...over there! I dare you! “Superior civilized men must ‘move forward’ and ‘up’ the corporate wealth to maintain a working global economy... heh, for the poor and unemployed. Water carriers, wood choppers, coal miners, boat builders, bed makers, bed warmers, and... heh, fishermen, farmers, hunters, gleaners and gatherers, and heh, the whole dern heathen service industry can’t work for themselves! CHRIST! THAT WOULD BLASTPHEMENIST! THAT WOULD BE LIKE WIVES INSISTING THAT HUSBANDS STOP BEING MEN! HEH! THAT WOULD BE A DISGRACEFUL SURGE OF SAME–SEX OFFENCE AGAINST THE SECURITY OF THE STATE! I AM NOT A CROOK! I AM NOT A LIAR! I DID NOT COOK THE BOOKS OR CHOP DOWN THE CHERRY TREE IN OUR FRONT YARD!” It is difficult to stop a President once he gets his constituency moving. Getting a President to listen to dissent, even the dissent of Supreme Court Justices, is one of Gods mysterious political conditions He placed upon all convicted nations when He gave ‘us’ the boot! God surely thought it would be funny to watch His cosmic play choreographed in the minds of men and women. The President continues speaking emotional and personal rhetoric while a nation of people-politicians listen to the mind-bending media-news. The President says, “A bit of water in every pot! And a bit of bread for those with not! Heh, ‘move forward’ Corporate America! You highly trained experienced National Guard veterans of rigorous six-week training and well-kept soldiers of fortune and victory... get out there and fight for the freedom of monopoly! Step up in front of your cherished patriotic ideals and be the mighty shield! Defend our principles and strategies! I will be the sword... heh, that cuts all ways and means to shreds and fetters! Fellow Americans and fallow Africans... heh, yours is not to question why, yours is but to do and die!” Okay, why must I ‘move the Global Corporation forward’ when I have already slipped right past the civilized places I have here-to-for beaten a difficult path trying to get to? It is rather ignorant, stupid, and inane to get my sense of ‘forward motion’ by pushing my own humanity backwards! Corporate necessity or not, I refuse to be a political idiot! I am a Civil Dissenter of course, and I will stay the course into the Conscience. So it is true! The President and I do have a thing in common! Opposing pressure and strategic political threat will not change the truth. Did the President not hear? What is the matter with him? Is he having an overdose of corporate egomania? Has the President’s same-sex constituency and personal party favorites turned to an orgy of same-sex political hysteria over republican moyenage? What did the President not hear? The President has not heard that Christ is also ‘staying the course’ and will not be swayed by Senator Satan or by any other conceptual ideology. Nor can the truth be converted to the President’s conceptual ideology... no matter how many times he says, “heh!” The truth shall ever ‘stay the course’! The Conscience shall ever ‘stay the course’

About the Author

Pablo Traviesa was born and raised in the State of Jefferson, Southern Oregon, in the early ‘50s. At nine years old, his parents of seven children left the logging business, released the kids out of public school and as a family took on the lessons-of-adventure aboard the old 75’ power vessel, built by the University of Washington for oceanography. Adventures on the high seas, in the Land of Mexico and elsewhere; the peoples and customs of other cultures; a high family value on learning and engaging, all influenced Pablo’s particular perspectives and inviolable belief in Conscience.
