About the Author

Alvin McEwen is a native of Columbia, SC and a graduate of Winthrop University He attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts. He is a board member of the South Carolina Gay and Lesbian Pride Movement and co-founder of Palmetto Umoja.
