About the Book

The story of The Broken Promise is about a young woman, Phoebe, falling in love with a man named Julian, who she met over the phone. A college law student, employed at local news paper and at a call center. This is the first time this has happen to Phoebe and she seemed to be happy since Julian seemed to make her happy, but little does she know, Julian is playing games with her this whole time. Blinded by his kindness and love for her, Phoebe realizes in the end that Julian is not the man he says he is.

About the Author

Mercy De Luna was born in Pasay City, Philippines on March 17, 1967 to Godofredo Dilodilo Catbagan and Mercelita Rivera De Luna Catbagan. At the age of thirteen years old she and her family immigrated in the U.S... With a childhood full of extraordinary adventures and adulthood a much greater journey; she still manages to raise three beautiful children. Many times she had to work courageously night and day in order to succeed in providing for her loved ones and continues to do so. With imaginative mind and dreams far past the stars, she uses quite a few events in her life in a creative way in order to create this wonderful book with lots of twist, and turns and broken promises. This is her first book.
