About the Author

M-A (Emma) Sullivan is a teacher and a licensed counselor who works mainly with individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by addiction. A native of Louisiana, she has worked extensively with the prison population and has a private practice as well. During the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, she was a mental health volunteer assisting evacuees locating in a shelter in her hometown. Emma is a member of the Emmaus Community. She is the mother of two adult children, Emily, an actor living in New York, and Will, in sales management, living in North Carolina.
