About the Author
I was born in Brooklyn New York. I graduated from The Art Institute of New York City in 1990 in their first Pastry Arts Class. In 1991 I won Third prize for French and Viennese Pastries at the 123 Annual Salon of New York City. I worked in many culinary establishments including The Marriott Marquis, The Concord Hotel, Beth Israel Medical Center and Umanoff and Parsons baking company. I have a home based business called Cakes and Confections by Jonathan. Without the help of my Daughter Hannah I would not have written this book.
