About the Book

This is a book for interesting kids and others to learn from. These are also some of my stories of growing up in a big city. I hope when kids read these stories they will be able to learn something about trying to make good decisions when growing up. This is also a good learning tool for classrooms in school, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade.

About the Author

I was almost 10 years old growing up in big city during the 60’s when times were easy but also racial and tense. I grew up next to a project that was all black and my street and over was all white, so I was right in the middle. But I had many friends on both sides and was able to see how life was on both sides of the fence, the good and bad side of growing up, white or black, so a lot of my stories are true in a way. It is hard growing up knowing the differences between right and wrong. I hope these stories will help. You make the right decision.
