Over The Hill

About the Book

Over the Hill With Jake and Smokey and 100 Other Columns is a collection of columns and articles about life and happenings in and around the small eastern Kentucky town of Frenchburg. Topics include such subjects as the frequent food-filled gatherings at the family cabin in the woods; the loving care they provide to injured or orphaned deer fawns each spring; and the writer´s first-time visits to NYC and other "far off" cities. Some will warm the heart and have you reading them over and over as you see how the family thread binds the whole book together.
