Earth is the secret battleground of an ageless war named the Aeon Age. Aliens, angels, animals, demons, souls and humans blend into Earth’s society to take part in the Aeon Age. Living numerous lives, people balance their duties to their factions with the problems in their daily lives in a complicated society. Six races form seven factions which fight over the thirteen pieces of the Aeon to complete the single most powerful object ever created. A prophecy states that five girls have the ability to end the war. Gathering in Tokyo, are the five girls. Hoshi, the sarcastic, smart girl who is the laziest of the bunch; Kotori, a lively girl, who is an optimistic healer; Rin, a quiet girl who is extremely forgetful; Ryuu, a petite girl, who has connections and a photographic memory; and Yuki, an energetic street fighter who is always looking for a good fight. The five team up with three demons – Raijin, the demon prince, and his two loyal servants, Hichou and Rai. They are also joined by an animal named Sanji, the oldest of the nine who is often left behind. Will these nine teenagers be able to put away their differences and completely trust each other, or will they die before they collect the thirteen pieces of the Aeon? Juggling their school work, family life, past, roles in the Aeon Age, friends, personal goals and completely horrible luck, these nine friends find themselves in dangerous situations.
