About the Book

Cali Spectives is an urban novel by Veronica Walton and Christopher Williams. Set in the eighties at the height of the crack epidemic. Written in diary form Two teens give their perspectives on life in California. One in Oakland the other in Los Angeles. 13 year old Jonas Winters struggles to fit in with the players and the hustlers, while his father struggles to keep him on the right track. And 17 year old Danine Gent struggles just to stay alive with the drive byes and gang violence erupting in her neighborhood. Cali Spectives a tale of Love, Honor, action, and suspense.

About the Author

Christopher T. Williams and Veronica Walton met online in the late 90’s and have remained close friends ever since. It has always been their dream to collaborate on a book. Nearly ten years later in 2008 that dream came true, and trough hard work and determination they co-wrote Cali Spectives. We also have a vision of writing a series of Cali Spectives books. At production time Christopher resides in South Carolina and Veronica in Texas, but both plan to in the near future. We Praise God for all of our friends and family who have shown support.
