About the Author

Mary E. Diehl graduated from Biola College (now Biola University in La Mirada, CA) in 1955 with a B.A. Degree in Christian Education. She has devoted her life to directing Christian Education and Children’s Ministries in the local church, and to teaching the Word of God to those of all ages. Helping others understand God’s Word has been the joy of her life. The author has designed the book with quizzes in the last chapter so it can be used as a textbook for Sunday School, home Bible studies, homeschooling or Christian schools. The study of God's purposes has long been neglected. It is the author's prayer that this book will help readers see the meaning of life from God's perspective, and come to know personally our great God of purpose!
