About the Book

I believe that a lot of our education doesn’t come from the classroom; it comes from the lessons we learn in life. I want the words and illustrations in this book, to reach into the mind and heart of your child, and inspire his imagination to visit new places and experience new things. This book attempts to introduce your child to the higher power you, presumably, believe in and wish to share. I grew up with a very strong faith in God, and I’d like to explain who and what God is, in terms simple enough for young children. Hopefully you will find in this book a message of love and faith from which your children will benefit.

My name is Wendy Annette Bumpus. I live in Tennessee. I’ve been writing since childhood. My words are borne out of personal experiences from relationships with family and friends – the words flow from my heart, to my pen, then on paper.
