About the Book

This book is simply an introduction of my writing career. In this book, I organized the development of self and received energy from the outside community that allowed me to flow openly. There are words of encouragement, real life similarities, and the poetry inside this book fills the spirit with a sense of hope. Many subjects in this book come from different life experiences as well as emotional changes that go along with life and its circumstances. The words in this book were carefully thought out and put together to fit each subject. A Glow in the Dark represents a storm or a time in one’s life where light is hard to find, where hope is gone. About the Author

My name is Jamieya Miller and I have been writing poetry and spoken word for 13 years. I am from a small town in Indiana and now reside in Minneapolis, MN. What inspires me to write is the love for life. I enjoy writing poetry because it allows me to express openly and poetry is open to any form or style. I have three beautiful children that inspire and motivate me to reach the impossible. I look forward to strengthening broken hearts, reviving those that have a sense of loss and interest people all over the world. I am poetry.
