Little Garden

About the Book

Little Garden is a charming collection of poems and short stories written by Eun Soo Gye, a twelve-year-old-girl living in Korea. Her short story “The Accident” shows a little girl’s brave journey through a fire of bombs during the Korean War. In contrast with the realism in “The Accident,” “Adventure from the Old Museum” deals with fantasy. Her poems, in the various forms of haiku, triolet, ode, sonnet, prose poem, sestina, ballad, free verse, deal with her dreams in life, enjoyment in the nature, relationship in the family and more.

About the Author

Eun Soo Gye was born in Seoul, Korea and stayed in New York City and Evanston (IL) and now lives in Daegu, Korea. She is a quiet but lively girl who loves to read and write. This book is her first book and she hopes to keep on writing.
