About the Book

These poems are a collection of the thoughts and feelings about everyday life and the awesome power of love. Love can be the driving force behind every success or unrequited love can be the downfall of anyone whose life has been affected. These poems reflect the various stages in life’s dealings with LOVE. Some are happy, some are sad and some, even resentful, but through it all, love can survive. There are three very important types of love: Godly love, brotherly love, and sexual love.  All have their place in life and all in some way have been addressed through the words in this book

About the Author

This young 25 year old writer, A.K.A. Q. Smooth, was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He, now, resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he does his writing. He began writing poetry at a very young age as an outlet for his thoughts on how he viewed the people around him. His family, friends and other loved ones were the source behind the words. Love was his guiding force. As he grew older his writings took on a deeper, sometimes darker, meaning. People reading some of his reflective writings suggested that he write a book. When he was 23 years old, after hearing some of his writings, his uncle prophesied that one day he would author books of poetry that would enable his thoughts to be read by many. Hopefully, this will be the first of many books to come from this God gifted poetic mind of this young and talented author.
