About the Author

Illustrator: Brenton Packer was born in Utah and has drawn since the second grade. His style of art is influenced by several artists growing up, including Jim Davis, Bill Watterson, and Norman Rockwell. He currently lives in Utah with his wife, Jessica, and loves reading books to his three children. Author: Devonne Gorman was born in New York and has always loved writing. She is an educator in the New York City public school system and enjoys positively impacting the lives of children everyday as a fifth grade teacher. Her husband Jerwaine inspired her to write a children’s book which has been a dream of hers for years. Daughters Danae and Jayla are who she dedicates the book to who are her pride and joy. She hopes that all children can see how important manners are and how far politeness and courtesy can take you in life.
