About the Author

Mable Jackson graduated with Doctorate in Urban Studies from STS College, Sacramento, CA; graduate of the Breining Institute with degree in Clinical Supervision; Texas native, registered Addiction Specialist, currently residing in California. Dr. Jackson is a mother of two successful, adult children and an avid sports fan (especially basketball). Having worked most of her professional life around the homeless, addicted, at-risk inner-city population, Dr. Jackson is intimately familiar with the barriers to full participation in society which is faced by many of those who would benefit most from this book.
