About the Book

As an artist, I have witnessed the death of creativity amongst all facets of media. I have witnessed the death of the artist as he succumbs to money rather than displaying his undying love for his art. I am an artist whose goal is to educate the masses about a day that is drawing quickly upon us. "Before the Bomb was dropped" is asking you, the reader, to place yourself into the scenario of any of the character in the book. The real question is where will you be when the bomb is dropped? What will you do when you are facing the consequences of our disobedience? Journey with me through philosophical poems such as "Stars from Heaven shall fall" to post apocalyptic poems like "Rebirth of a Nation." Opening your mind is the quintessential step into freeing yourself from its grasp.

About the Author

I, Kelvin C.Eatman, was born in Paterson, NJ to deplorable and inhuman conditions. Many nights I sat in the corner contemplating the pieces you have or will be reading. Many nights I called God's prayer line and received no answer to life's woes. Many days I gave up on life because the tempest swallowed me like a raging sea. Through the grace of an efficient Omni-present God, I am before you presenting you my Magnum Opus. Adversity was upon me since elementary school. I had a defeated attitude thus my thesis in life corresponded with my defeated purpose. I wanted better in life but all I received was trials and heartache. I was a very dark, cynical, and blatantly naive young man who only wanted the finer things in life. My book shows you some of the traps I fell into journeying on to find a nesting place. I put all of my hope in futile and feeble sources which led to my mental degeneration. I was writing since I was in 3rd grade beginning with a love song from a melody I heard from As Told by Ginger. It was titled "Since you came into my life" a title which exhibits the emotion of love and appreciation for that specific girls presence in my life. Even to this day, I can still recite those words as easily as I did when I was that age.
