About the Book

Dying to live is a book filled with all types of poems for everyday life. Reading this book of poems will give some insight of some situations that people have endured, while trying to regain their lives back. Dealing with these situations isn’t easy when you think you are all alone and there is no one to turn to for help. This book can help people look at their lives differently and others as well before judging anyone. By publishing this great book of poems, I hope to help people find another way to express themselves other than using violence among each other.

About the Author

Sonya M. Hayes was the seventh child born to her mother. She has 4 brothers and to 2 sisters, being that she was the youngest of them all she always felt as if she had to prove herself. At an early age she begins to dream big, wanting to become an actress, model, dancer or singer. Little did she know none of those dreams were going to come true; however she didn't give up trying to find out what gift she was blessed with. In the twelfth grade she discovered that she was good at writing poetry and has been writing ever since. She recently graduate from Middle College High and is now attended a two year college working on her associate degree in sociology.
