About the Book

“April invites us into the inner territory of her creativity through her words and illustrations. Her book is a welcome companion to our personal journey as she helps us explore ourselves and our own creativity. Her illustrations have endorsed much of my professional career working with the bereaved.”

Rev. Alice Parsons Zulli, Thanatologist,
Director of Bereavement Support and Services and Chaplain Associate,
Glendale Adventist Medical Center

“April has a gift for expressing herself in a way that resonates with the center of your soul. It’s not possible to read one of her poems without feeling connected to her spiritual universe on her journey through life. Enjoy.”

About the Author

April Camejo, an award winning and published poet in the International Society of Poets-2002, Poet of the year by J. Mark Press-1998, Published in Notable American Poets-1998, and “The Eternal Sea,” The International Library of Poetry-2002—and various other magazines and newsletters is a pioneering esoteric soul, excavating cosmic enigmas. Through her life’s experiences she has been able to pierce the depth of the soul and capture those sentiments in her poetry. She is a Second Degree Black Belt Martial Artist, a Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Nationwide Certified Aerobics instructor. She has relished imparting—not just fitness, but ethereal—knowledge to her students through the many aspects of teaching these classes. In addition, she has worked in corporate administration for many years. Utilizing different aspects of her administrative abilities from Accounting to Advertizing has enabled her to enjoy the autonomy of self-employment. She has a degree in Graphic Design which allows creative expression to design her own company logo and the logo’s and advertisements of other companies and various clients. As a free-lance artist, she has illustrated several magazines and booklets, such as the City of San Fernando Historic & Visionary magazine’s “short history and children’s activity booklet,” and the Glendale Adventist Hospital “Advanced Certificated Training for Childhood Loss and Family Bereavement” training guide. Religion, philosophy, and new-age teachings, as well as dancing and African drumming, are among her many hobbies. In all of these experiences she has been able to captivate the unity of body, mind, and spirit—another essence and inspiration in her writing. In this stirring and thought-provoking poetic anthology, the reader will both transcend and affirm their muse.
