About the Book

My poetry is first and foremost about everyday life. About trying to heal each other with love and communication. When I say communication I mean saying hi to each other, looking past race, religion and how a person looks. Let us go back to the basics of life. God is very important to me in my daily life, so I pray for each and every person in the world whether they are good or bad. In parting I always say one day at a time. Enjoy my simple poems and smile.

About the Author

My name is Harvey Carl Jones. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. I am married to a beautiful woman named Donna and have two beautiful daughters Eboni and Krystina whom I love dearly. We now reside in Buda, Texas a small town south of Austin. My poems are short and to the point about daily life issues. I myself am a simple person who’s trying to do my best to help change the world for the better in poetry. This might be to some people small but as I say in my poems, “never give up”. I pray in God's name that these poems will bring joy, a smile and blessings to each and every person that savors this book.
