About the Book

Help your children practice prepositions while searching for Jake, the snake. Jake slithers through his new home, hiding under, in, on top and behind different areas in the house. The children enjoy finding Tim’s fast, little slimy snake and also will be able to recognize and find other familiar objects throughout the story.

About the Author

Cindy has worked with children professionally for nearly 28 years. Except for spending time with her two teenage boys, her most favorite place to be is in a classroom full of loud, energetic preschoolers. When directing large child care centers, she would happily juggle double duty as the preschool teacher so as not to miss out on any of the fun. Story time was Cindy’s favorite time of the day in every one of her classrooms. She has spent hundreds of hours reading to hundreds of children over the years. If she was unable to find a story that related to the topic of interest and learning, she would write one for the children. Have You Seen Jake was created for a group of children in speech therapy at the rehabilitation center where she currently works.
