About the Author

About the Author I have dreamed of writing a children’s book, every since I became interested in this type of poetry. My beautiful wife of twenty-seven years, has owned and operated a daycare in our home for that entire time, and still does. We both love children, and are the proud parents of three beautiful girls. I have been writing poems since I first met my wife, some thirty years ago. Most of those were to her, but as time went on, I began writing of hunting and fishing adventures, that I had experienced. I believe I get my inspiration from my mother, she too, wrote poetry. I dedicate this book, to my daughter, Echo Marie, her husband Colby and my first grandchild, Carter Edward. They have been so supportive over the years; their encouragement has brought my dream, to a reality. I hope you and your children enjoy this book, as much as I have, writing it for them. Steve Owen
