About the Book

Angela Sreter Spencer was born in Transylvania, raised in Hungary but lived most of her adult life in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. She showed early interest in literature, following in the footsteps of her ancestors. To write poetry in English certainly is difficult for a native and even more to someone who learned the language as an adult. These poems testify not only victory over the fine nuances of a language but the love of life, nature, family, and country. They validate her eternal optimism and deep belief in trusting people. Many interests in a daily life are depicted in her writings: some disappointments and many joys drawn from her personal and professional experiences. When she does not write poems she works as a cerebrovascular neurologist. Laszlo Hopp is a physician and amateur photo enthusiast. He enjoys taking pictures of landscapes, cityscapes, and still life. He has several acceptances in the Wilmington International Exhibition of Photography and is a long-distant member of the Delaware Photographic Society. More of his pictures can be seen on line at http://www. fotocommunity.com/pc/pc/mypics/1299453 (http://www.fotocommunity.com/pc/pc/mypics/1299453). His blog on a variety of subjects is called “Occasional Reflections” at http://lhoppg.blogspot.com (http://www.lhoppg.blogspot.com).
