About the Book

Prologue Looking Back on My Ilihan, is the author's true to life story of events but being written in fiction to protect the characters and names mentioned in the book. The names does not necessarily represent or had been involved or part on a specific true events in the book but in reality it all had happened. In our journey of life anyone can make it, if we set our minds and hearts to it. All we have to do is find the right tool and the right vehicle to help us carry boat load of possibilities across the ocean of success. In every episode troubles came in every shape and made us frown but we learned to cheer up and never let our troubles got us down. In chapter 5, as we sailed in distress, in the waterways of the Visayas and Bohol Seas, we carved the pathways of our lives winding through the monster waves of madness and destruction but with proper guidance and direction we found our way to happiness. In this journey we call life, when troubles bring dismay, there is always hope and promise for all of us.

About the Author

Who am I? I, or someone like me, have touched you hundreds of times, but you never saw me, never felt me. I give you hope, provide you joy, and unfortunately, deliver bad news. I am never there to share in your excitement or comfort you in your times of sorrow. However, I still feel these emotions from a distance. My tasks are limitless, but always behind the scenes. I know that because of me, the world is a better place. I am a Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Scientist. I am one who discovered a pregnancy in the couple who had a slim hope of ever bearing a child, but was not there to "high-five" them. I gave closure to thousands of families of 9/11 disaster by identifying the remains of their love ones, but was not there to share their tears. I personally discovered a terrorist's weapon of choice, Anthrax, but could not bask in the limelight, as Published in Advance and in MT Publications, by an unknown author. Elizar C. Masucol MT (ASCP)
