About the Author

Jeffrey Kahn is the pen name for Sherryl Mitchum Peters. As Kahn, she has written several books, short stories and articles. A retired high school biology teacher, she now serves as a police officer and an independent photo-journalist. Peters currently resides in Snooky Swamp, Orangeburg County, SC, with her famous Boykin Spaniels and other four-legged friends. Charles Fellers, writing as Vic Rector, enjoys teaching high school biology, nature photography and making observations on both Mother Nature and human nature. He currently lives in Orangeburg, SC. The Hands of the Sha-Man is the first literary collaboration of Peters and Fellers although they have worked together in academia for many years.
