About the Author

My name is Anna Mae Murphy. I live in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, with my son Joshua. I am sixty-fi ve, and he is twenty-four years old. I traveled a lot but spent my whole life in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. It’s a quiet town; the people are friendly. It’s a historical town. There are a lot of historical buildings. This is a biography of my life in Pottsville and all the experiences I had throughout my life. I call my book Heartbreak, Abuse, and Depression because most of my life was about those things. I feel whoever reads this book will understand more about each one. My stories are based on each one. I know a lot of people in the world had some of each one. I want them to realize they are not alone. I learned to be strong and a survivor from it. The book is also about God and how much he can help you. Believe and have faith and pray to him. God never left me down, even if the world and people do. May God bless all of you who read my book and keep you safe and protect you.
