About the Book

And Other Summer Days is a collection of poems that subtly tell a story of summer and of love. Most were written as a challenge I gave myself: Ask a different person every day for a random word, then write a poem.

About the Author

Essence London was born and raised in North Little Rock Arkansas. She is now studying Political Science and leading a literary magazine that she started at The University of Memphis. London is a dreamer and, as a result, she has many plans. Pursuing nonprofit work, travelling, refining her craft as a writer, and becoming a person her brother can look up to are a few of the things on the list.
