About the Author

Althea Lee Dixon is a wife and mother of three. Born in Jamaica, she migrated to Canada at the age of thirteen, after the sudden death of her grandmother. Althea has been a woman of faith for most of her life. She has been very active in various ministries with a passion for helping women. During the writing of this book, she suffered a brain aneurysm and almost died. But in spite of her illness which includes memory loss, speech and mobility impediments, she has successfully completed this book with the help of her family.
